Betty Mallorca and Lawrence Manning, partners in art and life for 30+ years, invite their audience to explore the fascinating landscape of the Palouse, seen through their unique and separate artistic perspectives. Mallorca layers acrylic, ink, and cold wax; Manning takes his own photographs apart and rebuilds them into forms a camera alone can't produce. Together they treat the Palouse as a question rather than a subject - a place to interpret, not just document.

Please join us for an opening reception of their work on September 18th from 5-7pm in the North Friesen Gallery, located on Northwest Nazarene University.

The Exhibition will be open to the public M-F 9am-4pm or by appointment from Sept 18th - Dec 17th, 2026
